Hopefully this will add a new avenue to the discussion about tritium exit signs.

Basic new tritium exit signs have an effective work life of about ten years
and contain about 25 Curies of H-3.  However, a janitorial/safety catalog I
had, sold double sided (two signs - 2 x 25 Ci.), extended work life 20 years
(twice the activity ?) and double sided extended work life (two signs at
twice the activity ?) tritium exit signs.
