10CFR20 on the Web -Reply
The reason that no one at NRC has the electronic copy, is
that GPO publishes things in a non-standard format (kodak
or something). So when we finish a rule, it is translated to
this format none of us can use. There are always minor edits
made and even subsequent revisions that only affect small
portions. So, we do not have an electronic version, that is up
to date, that includes all of Part 20.
NRR (the reactor group) has a contractor that maintains a
data base which includes all of 10 cfr. However, part of the
contract is that they cannot distribut the products of the
database. They can only use it for in house analyses.
There is a company, BNA, that maintains all of 10 CFR, 40
CFR, and really all of the titles that any radsafer would likely
be interested. They distribute monthly updates on CD_ROM.
It has a simple queery tool and is very useful. Unfortunately,
it is not free.
Finally, the last possibility of which I am aware is having
someone type it all in. After all, the tables are one part of
title 10 that won't change often. I won't say at all because I
am trying to change Appendix B myself. But it is not like the
rest of Part 20 that gets little changes made to it pretty
frequently.
Sorry I cannot help,
Char Raddatz
