Sorry if I have offended you. Just for your information, the way in which I
am an "exception to the rule" is that when I was appointed as RSO for this
University, I had only 2 years (rather than 5 years) experience. I also had
a degree in Physics and a graduate diploma in medical physics.

It was not my intent to deride formal qualifications.
