Normally, I would reply directly to Dave, however, I have seen similar
messages on the list many times before, so I thought a universal reply
might be in order.

If you need to find if someone is "wired", try the following:

  For the world:    gopher://judmentday.rs.itd.umich.edu:7777
  For the US:       gopher://judmentday.rs.itd.umich.edu:7777/1Mc%3dUS

For Dave's specific request, try the US baseline, then:

  Indiana (locality)
  Indiana University (organization)
  Search Indiana University
