FYI:

Just so we all don't bombard this poor soul, I replied directly to the
concerned mother.  Based on my experience measuring doses for NICU exams, I
believe the ESE is around 3 mR.  Given the uncertainties, for 40 exams the
total dose would be <200 mrad (< 2 mGy).  For perspcetive I compared this
with the average background exposures in NCRP-94.

Anyone with other numbers?  Comments?
