I've never heard of an association between myopia and radiation exposure.
BEIR V gives "...the threshold for a vision-impairing cataract under
conditions of highly fractionated or protracted exposure..." as "... no less
than 8Sv (800 rem), citing ICRP Publication 41 Nonstochastic Effects of
Ionizing Radiation (1984). They do say that a dose as low as 1 Gy (100 rads)
can result in detectable injury (opacity) to the lens, depending on the LET
and doserate. I'm at a loss as to the medical questions.
