Where did I say that Pu is not highly toxic? I said that we can
expect one cancer for every 200 micrograms inhaled by people (assuming
linear-no threshold). This was from my paper in Health Physics 32:
359-379; 1977. If you have reason to question that number, please let me
know why. For acute effects (fibrosis), my paper gives about 1 mg as the
lethal dose.
