Continuous Coverage At NPPs

Comanche Peak offers the following:                                             

1. We are REQUIRED to provide continuous coverage only to entries               
   into Locked High Rad Areas greater than 1 R/hr at a foot, but will           
   also provide for most jobs in High Rad Areas (> 100 mR/hr) or                
   jobs with potential for large exposures.                                     

2. Yes, when using telemetry, video and usually audio. During outages,          
   remote monitoring will be set up in an entire area (such as inside           
   the bioshield) allowing 1 or 2 techs to monitor several jobs at once.        

3. No, line of sight is not required when using telemetry (electronic           
   dosimeters with radio transmitters). We currently us MG DMC 100s.            

4. Yes, for greater than 3" lines. Sample lines and instrumentation             
   lines do not.
