TESTING PROGRAM FOR DIAGNOSTIC X-RAY EQUIPMENT
Does anyone have details of programs imposed by their government which
require regular testing of diagnostic x-ray equipment for compliance
with radiation safety standards?
If so:-
How frequently are the different classes of equipment required to be
tested?
Are the tests performed by the government agency, by the private
sector or both?
If private, are the "testers" licensed or otherwise approved by the
government authority?
What qualifications are required of the persons performing the tests?
How does the government audit or oversee the test results?
Any other related information would be appreciated.
Even if you are only intending to introduce such a program, please let
me know what you have in mind.
Thanks in advance.
