The "H" term in dose equations -Reply

Dose Equivalent. This is the product of the absorbed dose in tissues, the
quality factor whose value depends on the type of radiation, and the
modifying factor whose value is currently set to one.

How ya doin', Brian?

I've asked this question to a number of people, and never even gotten a
guess, so here goes:

What is the "H" in dose equations short for?

Thanks to anyone who can answer.
