Draft OPM Qualification Standard for Health Physicists

     Federal government health physicists may wish to review the current 
     draft OPM qualification standard which would utilize one standard for 
     all 18 of the 1300-series job classifications.  It is available from 
     the OPM PayPerNet or from agency personnel offices.  Comments on the 
     draft standard have been requested by OPM by July 15, 1996.  (Initial 
     review indicates that, subject to local interpretation, the standard 
     could have significant adverse impacts for health physicists relative 
     to the current standard which was updated relatively recently.)
