Tritium is usually used in modern watch dials, for illuminative purposes.
Note that Pm147 is a very strange radionuclide. This is a pure beta emitter
(225 keV max), which decays with a 2.6y 1/2life to Sm147, a pure alpha
emitter (2.248 MeV, T1/2= 1E11y)!!
