      This may come across as being biased since I am still on active duty.
 One book that talks about nuclear power as I recall was the "Rickover
Effect".  Based on the title you probably guessed that its a biography on
Adm. Rickover.  More importantly though its about the birth of naval nuclear
power and a host of new industries that were needed to support it.(the book
also talks about various civilian NPP's like Chalk River, Shippingport, TMI,
etc).
       The book is by Theodore Rockwell and is available from the Naval
Institute Press.
