Extremity Dosimetry

Dear Radsafers:

I'm writing an article on extremity dosimetry for RSO Magazine.  Anybody out
there want to share some info?  for the record, I think I know the answers
to these questions, but wanted to get some ideas from others.

When should finger rings be required?  Should both hands or only the
dominant hand be monitored?  Where should finger rings be kept when the
individual is still in the restricted area, but not working with radioactive
material?

I'd also like to hear about implementation problems which others may have
encountered. (An article on external dosimetry will appear in the July-Aug
issue of RSO.)

submitting articles for publication in RSO. We'll make it as easy as
possible for you, and we really want to ge RSOs and technicians involved in
the magazine.
