RWP Authorization

This message will be most applicable to individuals in the commercial nuclear 
power arena.  
 
I would like to conduct a non-scientific survey of the RADSAFE audience on the 
processes used to capture Radiation Work Permit (RWP) acknowledgements 
(acknowledgement = indication that the individual has read, understands, and 
will comply with the terms of the RWP)?   
 
1. Do you have an automated access control system? 
2. Do you have individuals sign (pen-and-ink hardcopy signature) a log or 
other document indicating that they have read and     understand each RWP? 
3. If you have an automated access control system, does the use of that system 
(or some other act) indicate that they have     read and understand the RWP?  
(subtle difference: no pen-and-ink signature required - this includes 
"electronic signatures    or other methods).  Please describe any other 
methods.  
4. Any comments on the entire process in general?
