If the instrument is a rem-responding design*
then you will need to know the spectra in
order to select the proper flux-to-dose
conversion factor.  On the other hand, if
they only want to quote some 'equivalent' flux
then pick the conversion factor for the
spectra of interest.

*since this is the only type calibrated by
NIST this isa safe guess.

A little risk adds spice to life.
