Re: Rickover and NR



Interest in Rickover and the technical underpinnings of things-nuclear in the
Navy and elsewhere are addressed in "The Rickover Effect" by Ted Rockwell
(Rickover's Technical Director, and the developer and author of the "Reactor
Shielding Design Manual", the well-worn 'bible' for we working radiological
analysts and design engineers in the late 60s - 70s.)  

Ted is great and still going strong in the DC area (I suspect the radsafe
volume was too much for him  :-)  but he is active on other forums.
