Lots of Mis-information floating about on the subject of
Rickover and Naval Reactors.  This is just to correct a few of
the minor errors I happened to see.

1) Rickover retired from the Navy in 1982.  That means that
RR was at the helm of the country.

2) Rickover died in 1986 or four years after he retired.  In the
mean time he worked with the Rickover institute as well as
performing other valuable tasks.  He did not let the loss of his
job stop him; he kept busy. 

3) The change of command from Rickover to McKee was
orderly and went well.  However, McKee was not as
demanding as Rickover and many people consider  the
technical capability of the organization diminished after
Rickover's departure.
