Well, not by 11 orders of magnitude, no.  But we found a bit of a surprise
when working on my dissertation (on the physics and chemistry of the
radiolysis of water, mostly) that it has indeed been revised downward.  Like
many of you, I had remembered the easy to memorize 6.023E23, but we found
that it is now more like 6.021E 23, I think.  I have in front of me a 1986
vintage heat transfer book that gives it as 6.022045E23, and as I recall
(I'll look it up tomorrow) the most recent number we found was slightly lower.
