Re: I-129 in C-14 Sodium Acetate



As the ampoules are sealed, you have not done any chemistry on them, so
I'm assuming you're picking up x-rays from the compound. At activities of
18.5 MBq, the C-14 betas will be giving a significant flux of
bremmsstrahlung. Could this be the explanation?
