My first thought was also: How did you measure it? I-129 is extremely
longlived and has therefore a very low specific activity. Usual techniques
for measurement are neutron activation and in recent time ICP-MS. All these
techniques require treatment of the sample. I would not rely on for instance
Bremsstrahlung as a mean for determination of beta-emitters.
