And a few years later, the improvements will reach Agreement State 
regulations.....three years later, to be more precise.  However, in all 
candor, if it is a serious problem, it could find its way into A.S. 
regulations much sooner.

If you are aware of a specific problem with NRC regulations, it is up to you
to do something
about it.  An individual or organization (e.g. the Health Physics Society) 
is
empowered to
petition for rulemaking under 10 CFR 2.802.  The staff has limited resources
and " the Wheels
of Government grind slowly," but improvements are made.  Your input is 
needed
but it will
require more than an expression of concern on RADSAFE.
