Radiation Safety Presentation for 4th graders -Reply

Steve Hand asked about materials for radiation safety presentations to fourth grade students. 
I do not have such materials handy but can say that for the youngsters, something "hands-on"
works best.  Let them play with instruments and (safe) sources.  Demonstrate half-life by
tossing coins.  Basically, the need is to have the students do something other than sit and
listen.

I also want to expand the request.  The Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the HPS is one of
the chapters that conducts workshops for teachers in our area.  We need more material for
the K - 4 teachers.  If anyone has such material that they are willing to share, it would be
greatly appreciated.
