CalRad Forum Fall Conference



     The California Radioactive Materials Management Forum (CalRad 
     Forum) announced the agenda for the Fourteenth Annual Fall 
     Conference.  CalRad Forum is an association of about 60 public 
     and private corporations and institutions who use radioactive 
     material.  The conference will be held Thursday and Friday, Nov. 
     21 and 22 at the Hyatt Regency, Irvine, California.  The hotel is 
     conveniently close to John Wayne Airport and provides free 
     shuttle service.
     
     Thursday, Nov. 21  afternoon and evening
          Optional Workshop on Understanding Risk & It's Use in        
            Informed Decision Making
          Reception
          Optional Dinner
     
     Friday, Nov. 22  morning and afternoon
          Presentations include topics such as the future of Ward 
     Valley and the Federal Low-Level Radioactive Waste Policy Act, 
     status report from the Southwestern Compact, panel discussions 
     including Congressional staff, radioactive material users, 
     impacts of delays on users, progress in Texas, radwaste and mixed 
     waste treatment technologies and effects of low level radiation.
