Bruce Busby has hit upon an outstanding idea! I have been participating
in the Internet, albeit generally passively, and constantly amazed and
in "wonderment" at the amount of information and the ease of
communication that occurs; RADSAFE being an example. There have been
continuous discussions on RADSAFE about how to educate the public, but
we usually have explored traditional methods. Now Bruce has suggested a
new way, using the capability of the Internet. We have all been taking
from the Internet; what can we do to give back and inform on a more
massive scale. Certainly each of us could develop a home page that
supports nuclear activities and "tells the story". Bruce has been
leading the pack in this area with an excellent homepage. But how can we
organize his latest idea and how best can we use this new medium of the
internet to educate the public? What other ideas do you Radsafers have
and how can they be implemented?
