     Position: Radiation Specialist
     
     Description: Implement the Beckman/Hybritech radiation safety 
     program to assure compliance with applicable regulations and 
     license conditions.  Plan programs, surveys, audits and 
     investigations as related to radiological health hazards.  
     Maintain all required records and submit all required regulatory 
     reports.
     
     Experience: BS/MS with major in Science with 5-7 years experience 
     in radiation safety (with knowledge of proper handling procedures 
     for I-125) Should have knowledge of laboratory counting 
     techniques, personnel and environmental monitoring techniques, 
     facility design criteria and regulations controlling the use of 
     radioactive materials.
