     I agree wholeheartedly with George Cicotte.  You might note that 
     Food and Water, Inc. is not a new organization.  They were around 
     in 1992 when the Vindicator facility in Florida started up to 
     irradiate strawberries.  Food and Water claimed that radiolytic 
     products in the foods had never been tested for carcinogenicity, 
     that irradiated foods resulted in toxic reactions in animals, 
     chromosome damage in rodents, monkeys and children, and 
     reproductive damage in rodents.  This fear factor was played in 
     an article they published in USA Today.  They concluded by 
     claiming "cancer rates have now reached epidemic proportions..." 
     implying that food irradiation will raise people's already 
     growing cancer risk.  The final shot was at the "economic 
     interests" of the food industry.  So don't take these folks 
     lightly.  It's their job.
