Laser Safety Course




A one day Laser Safety Course will be offered at the University @
Albany (Abany, New York)  on March 27, 1997.  This course is open to safety 
professionals, technicians, engineers and laser area personnel, and
is designed to enhance a working knowledge of laser hazards, 
bioeffects and laser control measures.

The course is sponsored by the State University of New York Environmental 
Health & Safety Association and  will be presented by the Laser Institute of 
America.

Introduction to Laser Bioeffects
Standards and Classifications
Summary of Laser Applications & Control Measures 
Laser Output & Viewing Conditions

Laser Accidents
Laser Hazard Controls
     
Cost is $190, includes course notes, Laser Safety guide, lunch and 
breaks, parking fees.
