Re: Radiopharmaceutical patient release

It's not clear why the issue of "asking personal questions" arises. These are
medical settings. We already ask the patient every sort of personal question,
in order to have a complete, and accurate, history. With regard to the use of
therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, my reading of the spirit and letter of the
regs, and ICRP/NCRP recommendations, has been, for many years, that we were
obliged to give the patient guidance on the matter of sexuality, to limit the
dose both to partners and to potential concepti.
