Re: Train derails - nuclear containers

Hi Jozsef,

here is the article as you requested.

Regards,

SAARBRUECKEN, Germany, Feb 4 (Reuter) - A train carrying
containers designed to hold nuclear waste came off the rails in
France close to the German border early on Tuesday, the interior
ministry of Germany's Saar state said.
It could not immediately be established whether the
containers were carrying any nuclear material or in which
direction the train was travelling.
A ministry spokesman said the cause of the derailment was
unclear but three nuclear containers from the Lingen power
station in northwestern Germany were now standing next to the
rails.
``The three wagons and the locomotive are standing upright
in the gravel next to the tracks. Nothing has fallen over,
nothing dramatic has happened, it's just a derailment,'' the
spokesman said.
The wagons were standing 500 metres (yards) inside the
French border near the town of Apac, he said, adding that the
French police had made clear that the containers were now their
responsibility.
The remainder of the train became separated from the
containers and remained on German territory, he said.
