re: Oops / H-3 contaminated Hg
With respect to Dr. Mercado's post, below, I just saw (but didn't read
in detail) an article in the January 1997 RADWASTE MAGAZINE, which
detailed a company's process for removal of mercury from radioactively
contaminated materials. You might look that publication up (I've
already passed it along here, so I don't have anything more).

. . . . Anyone want/know what to do with 62 lbs of tritiated
mercury? The one company that was interested in it wants $5000 per
pound to take it. . . . Any suggestions/comments would be
