HADDAM NECK, Conn.,  Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power
Plant said Tuesday it is setting up a community group to advise on the
decommissioning of the plant. Citizens' watchdog groups say they are 
concerned that neither the utility nor the federal Nuclear Regulatory 
Commission are doing enough to safeguard the public against the 
hazards posed by decommissioning. They argue that the spent fuel 
poses a significant danger to the public.
