Spent Fuel form Canada?

My understanding is that, for research reactors using enriched U as
fuel, the HEU and LEU is purchased from the US.  One of the conditions
of the agreements is that, once spent, it is to be returned to the
supplier for reprocessing and use in US power reactors.  This has been
the case for decades.

This only applies to small research reactors because, of course, the
CANDU reactors used for power generation use natural uranium as fuel and
heavy water as moderator and coolant.  Canada does not produce or have
the facilities to produce enriched fuel.
