Faculty Position Announcement



The University of Florida is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor
in the Department of Nuclear and Radiological Engineering with expertise
and significant experience in instrumentation for ionizing and
non-ionizing forms of radiation.  Applicable areas of emphasis include
biomedical engineering, medical physics and non-destructive testing.  a
full professor appointment will be considered for exceptionally well
qualified applicants.  Involvement will be with all academic levels
(Ph.D., M.S., B.S.).  Duties will include teaching, development of
laboratory courses, advising students and conducting research in one of
the nation's leading Nuclear and Radiolgical Engineering Departments. 
Must have an earned doctorate or equivalent in biomedical engineering,
health physics, medical physics, radiological engineering or a related
area.  Please supply a current resume, list of publications and the
names of three professional referenes.  Deadline date for application
and nomination is March 15, 1997.  The University of Florida is an Equal
