Re: The "R" Word



     The risk:benefit ratio for a chest radiographic exam, assuming a 
     rational justification for the exam, is extremely favorable.  Thus, 
     the exam can be recommended even if there could ever be a risk, 
     documented or otherwise, from the minute radiation exposure.
     
     The risk:benefit ratio for smoking is another story...
