I forwarded your question to Colleen Petullo, the Chair of the MARSIM 
(Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual) - she is with 
the EPA in Las Vegas.  I'll post her reply when I get it.  By the way - she 
is giving a two hour PEP session on MARSIM at our Sierra Nevada Chapter of 
HPS annual meeting in Lake Tahoe this April 4th.  Anyone wanting more info,

A quick question to help me make absolutely sure I understand
what I've read about the use of MARSSIM.  Do I understand correctly that
MARSSIM will supersede NUREG/CR-5849, Manual for Conducting
Radiological Surveys in Support of License Termination?
