Re: Radioisotopes in amphibian research



Another  use for radiotracers I wished was available last year.  

I needed to determine the path of carpenter ants once they entered my 
house.  I knew where they were coming from (so I easily destroyed 
their nest), but I wanted to track them to see if there was another 
nest in an area of my house that I couldn't see...

Too bad there aren't any licenses for using radioactivity that ants 
could walk through on their way into one's house!

Guess I just have to rely on good old fashioned toxic chemicals!  or 
perhaps give the integrated pest management method a try!
