Re: Radioisotopes in amphibian research
Another use for radiotracers I wished was available last year.
I needed to determine the path of carpenter ants once they entered my
house. I knew where they were coming from (so I easily destroyed
their nest), but I wanted to track them to see if there was another
nest in an area of my house that I couldn't see...
Too bad there aren't any licenses for using radioactivity that ants
could walk through on their way into one's house!
Guess I just have to rely on good old fashioned toxic chemicals! or
perhaps give the integrated pest management method a try!
