Re: Nuclear Reactions program

A great followup topic to the Frontline show would be a hard look at
re-processing. France, Russia, England and Japan solve much of their "waste"
problem by reprocessing spent fuel. The DOE has recently made a decision to
dispose of excess Pu by burning it as reprocessed MOX fuel on a limited
basis. This topic should maybe examine the reality vs. perception of
proliferation concerns, the costs of reprocessing vs. disposal, and how
other countries solve the proliferation concerns. I, for one, would love to
see a serious debate and less fear mongering.
