Drinking Duterium

Harking back to a B.S. in Biochemistry, Duterium is the exception.
Chemically, the body doesn't recognize D as hydrogen because of the weight
difference, which is significant to biochemical pathways with such a small
molecule. As a result many of the pathways that pull hydrogen from water
molecules can't function, resulting in eventual death from dehydration.
