  If you have access to a LSC, there are several methods for determination
  of Rn in water. One reference is:

  Welch, Lawrence; Mossman, Daniel M. The Determination of Radon Levels in
  Water, Journal of Chemical Education (sorry no date)

  This method is independent of Ra in water and is well suited for Rn in
  well water supplies.
