Change in package labeling for S35 compound

New package labeling for Tran35S-Label (ICN cat. no. 51006 -- metabolic
labeling reagent, containing 70% methionine), has been introduced effective
June 1, 1997 to reflect total activity shipped. Current customers have
received notification of this change for the past four weeks. In the event
any customers or their radiation safety officers are not aware of this
change, please see the table below:

5 mCi		7 mCi
10 mCi		14 mCi

There have been no other changes in the chemical or radioisotope
composition of this product.

This package labeling change may require adjustment to individual
laboratory licenses for S-35 storage and handling.

These products are now being shipped in the new Versatainer system with a
removable microcentrifuge tube. Samples of the new packaging for
educational or evaluation purposes are available.
