Petri Dishes for Air Sample Filter Transport?

Most petri dishes are polystyrene and are very vulnerable to static
electricity build up that will "lift" varying amounts of material off the
filter if not the filter itself.

I've seen the least "migration" on glassine envelopes (often used by stamp
collectors). Not as porous as a paper envelope and lower susceptability to
statice build up (but not immune).
