Two new European Radiation Safety mailing lists

Dear radsafers,

there are two new Radiation Safety mailing lists which might be of special
interest to our European collegues. Both lists are presently undergoing a
trial period with to date about 25 list members each. New subscriptions are
welcome. By the end of the year the lists are expected to be in full
operation.


RADSAFE-EU is the European equivalent to the international mailinglist
RADSAFE.

SUBSCRIBERS: Everybody  interested in Radiation Safety, especially
radiation protection and health  physics professionals from administration,
governmental agencies, industry, medicine, science and universities, may
subscribe to this list. Subscriptions from  eastern European countries are
welcome and especially encouraged.

PURPOSE: Discussion of  Radiation Safety issues of general interest to
radiation protection and health physics professionals in the European union
, e.g. (but not restricted to) harmonization of radiation protection
regulations and procedures.
LANGUAGE: English

To subscribe to RADSAFE-EU send an e-mail to the following address:

message type the following command lines:

                     end

RADSAFE-D is the equivalent to RADSAFE for German speaking countries.

SUBSCRIBERS: Everybody  interested in Radiation Safety, especially
radiation protection and health  physics professionals from administration,
governmental agencies, industry, medicine, science and universities, may
subscribe to this list. 

PURPOSE: Discussion of  Radiation Safety issues of general interest to
radiation protection and health physics professionals.
LANGUAGE: German, English only exceptionally (e.g. forwarding mail from
another list, posting to several lists etc.)

Both lists are sponsored by the Research Centre Juelich, which is with
close to 5000 employees the largest one in Germany.
