     Dr Raabe,
     
     There is not an RTG on Mars Pathfinder, but there are a number of 
     small radioisotopic heater units (RHUs) which also contain Plutonium 
     238 (I believe 100 Ci each).  They provide heat to various 
     instruments.  They have been used in past deep space initiatives.  
     They do not provide power.
