It's my recollection that the posting by Bruce asked about both the external
exposure rates in the vicinity of the patient, and the internal dose to the
patient. I chose to address the latter component of the question only, since
others were offering useful estimates of the potential external exposures,
but not, I thought, the most recent, authoritative, estimate of the internal
dose. I'm not sure quite what you mean by the phrase: "actual whole body
dose", but I'd be glad to fax you a copy of the various organ dose estimates
that are used to compute the EDE, if those data would be of interest to you.
