If two independent means are used to assess doe, I would not add 
the two doses together to arrive at a single dose. That methodology 
is not much different than the current practice of mulitibadging. If 
one wears 5 wholebody type dosimeters, the dose generally assigned 
(for that job) is the highest of the dosimeters. One would not add 
all of them to derive a different dose. Same goes for extremity 
dosimeters. One would not add the right and left dosimeters to derive 
the extremity dose. That is only assigned as the higher of the two, 
and is called the SDE-ME.

Why be conservative, which is already inherently built into the 
system?
