1997 Big Ten RSO Conference Update

The Ohio State University is hosting the 1997 Big Ten Radiation Safety Officers Conference September 15-17.  Information is available at the Big 10 RSO web site, linked through our home page at http://www.ehs.ohio-state.edu (some portions of the Big 10 RSO Conference web site are still under construction).

The tentative schedule for the 2.5 day conference is as follows:

The hotel is located 12 miles from Port Columbus International Airport, 5 miles from downtown Columbus, and 1/2 mile from The Ohio State University.  Recreational facilities include a pool and complimentary use of Scandinavian Health Spa.  The hotel has a lounge and casual restaurant and is located within walking distance of several other restaurants.

Transportation in Columbus

The University Ramada offers free airport shuttle service from 
7:00 am - 10:00 pm.  Use the courtesy phone at the airport to contact them.   Departure from the hotel to the airport is on the hour (first come first serve basis).  The free shuttle service is also available within a 3 mile radius of the hotel, with the exception of downtown Columbus. 

Taxi Service from the airport to the hotel will cost $12.00 - $15.00 dollars.
