The Environmental Radadiation Section of the HPS

	A new mail list has been established at the University of Nevada, Reno
for members of the Environmental Radiation Section of the HPS. There are
nearly 600 members of the section and the 1997-98 officers would like to
employ the service to facilitate communication within the group. If you
are a member and haven't been contacted about the list it may be because
your e-mail address isn't included in the HPS directory, or because
directory information is out of date or incorrectly recorded. Please drop
a note to hpsenvirorad@equinox.unr.edu to register your preferred e-mail
address to the list. Because some members do not have e-mail, the section
will not depend exclusively on electronic mail. We believe, however, that
the method will be useful for stimulating discussions and comparing ideas
within the group for directing Section activities.
