NIST Traceability for Radioassay laboratories <excerpt>:

ANSI N42.23 "Measurement and Associated Instrumentation
Quality Assurance for Radioassay Laboratories" addresses
a serious national Q.A. shortcoming. ........ "It provides guidance for
service laboratories to demonstrate traceability to NIST through a chain
of unbroken comparisons, using intermediate Reference Laboratories.
Furthermore, the standard focuses on  criteria for a national
accreditation program, based on demonstrated traceability to NIST,
........"

Just thought this might be of interest to a significant number of
Radsafers, particularly since a NIST publication was using the magic 't'
word.
