RADIOLOGICAL POST EMERGENCY ISSUES CONFERENCE, September 9 - 11, 1998 at the Washington Sheraton Hotel, Washington D.C. - U.S. EPA is sponsoring a conference which addresses post emergency issues.  These are issues following a significant release of radioactive material that impacts the public and the environment.  Possible conference topics include: POST EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ISSUES - REGULATORY ISSUES - AGRICULTURE AND LAND USE - CLEAN UP LEVELS - POST EMERGENCY GUIDANCE - POLITICAL, SOCIAL, AND ECONOMIC IMPACTS ON AFFECTED COMMUNITIES - FINANCIAL RESOURCES AND FUNDING MECHANISMS - PUBLIC OUTREACH ISSUES - TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES RELATED TO POST EMERGENCY ISSUES - POST EMERGENCY RESPONSES TO ACTUAL EVENTS/EXERCISES/LESSONS LEARNED.
